New Amex statement credits

no Myer on any of our 20 cards
no officeworks but I did use 10 cards last year to purchase an iphone

Special Gift Cards 10% up to $20 credit
Silversea Spend $2000 or more, get $200 credit

none of my 20 accounts got silversea but I have been over utalising as well

but even my associates who have never used did not get it
you must be very special!!!

I got Mayer offer only on Explorer (primary) and Special offer only on Plat Charge (primary) out of 4 different cards and sups. So random

No Silverseas here. Pretty sure I’ve had it in the past but not used.

Cancelled my own Amex over the weekend 🙈 and unfortunately no Special offer on the Supp card I have. It's probably the offer we use the most at the moment.

I've utilised the Virgin offer (Spend $500, get $50 back) and I will utilise the the Hilton (spend $400 get $80 back) by 9/25. Nothing else is likely to be used

Same, I don't think I've had any real benefit this year except 3 of these free money offers. I was overseas for the Delicious Month Out promo and not in the market for shoes so there's not a lot left that I find useful

I’ve said it before but the Special is good because one can buy a $200 Woolworth’s card. This card loads into your phone like a normal Apple Pay card (in fact it’s actually a Mastercard underneath) therefore at the check out you just select pay by card and there are no limits on purchasing gift cards.

Woolworths also sell prepaid Mastercards (with a $5.95 fee) but on a $200 purchase well $194 variable card you’re $14 ahead. I then use this to pay utilities bills. There is also some talk that certain special cards work direct but I haven’t tried this.

Likewise, I load the card onto google pay and use it at woolies like a normal card.
The only downside is I don't spend $200 at once so I have to keep track of how much money is left on the card. The card will be declined if there is insufficient balance to pay the full amount, and unlike a gift card, it won't just automatically split the payment up. You have to go to split payment and enter that amount manually.
