Odd that it doesn't show as an offer on any of my cards in the 'My offers' section. Maybe Amex intending the offer for the bank issued Amex cards?

You can't make them. They come from the AmexConnect web site.

Anyone have any advanced info if Amex are running a May 'Shop Small' this year? Last year it ran on May 14 -15 I think.

I'm sure some of the folks on here who's got merchant accounts with Amex might have a bit more info...or nothing. IIRC some merchants ended up on the Shop Small list without being told.

Only eGift cards excluded in t&cs so physical gift cards should be OK. In past offers gift cards have always paid the credit. Unfortunately you need to spend over $200 for free postage.
