... However, QF decided to change my aircaft from a 73H to an 734 at the last minute and boarding was delayed ½ an hour. s.
OT, but more on this.

They must have simply retained peoples allocated seats down to row 25, then reassigned those in 26-29. There was some consternation around the middle of the aircraft when those who had obtained exit rows for a 73H (R13&14) found themselves in normal WHY seats. The row 11 & 12 pax had the opposite situation.

I had 5D seat and was very happy with the extra 'converta-seat' J style space (no-one beside in E either ;) )

What's that got to do with ADL?

How are the 'puters in the new QP?
Not wishing to scale whitewashed walls, I couldn't tell. :!:

Serfty, I must have been in a daze, as I was sitting next to the whitewashed walls and didn't notice them.

The 'whitewashed walls' were in two places.

•As in the image "From NE Corner"; up on the left from entry as you would walk up past them and around the corner to the Service desk.

•Behind the 'South side Booths', as in the photo. You could walk behind these.

As far as PC's go, I did not see any. I was referring to the 'whitewashed walls' behind the booths. I am guessing the business centre (With PC's) will be set up behind these. However, I did not feel like climbing up and looking over them to see. Such activity might have disturbed some of the patrons.

I have visited the new ADL airport today.

From first impressions, it really is a great airport. Fresh modern design and quite usable.

The Qantas club looks more complete. A nice design and very large. Should seat quite a few more pax than the old one. Apparently a new Chairman's Lounge is about to open in a week or so. I assume it will be on the Left hand side after the meeting rooms when you walk in but don't really know. I think that was one of the areas whitewalled off previously. There is still some whitewall, but the meeting rooms seem to have opened up.

Computers are up and operational. They are just behind the entry. I think there are 8, with some other work areas around. Photocopiers/fax/shredders are available on both sides.

The Coopers Pale on tap is a nice touch, so is the Heineken. Other standard domestic beers /wines/spirits available as per other QP's.

The whitewall behind the bar is going to be additional lounge seating I believe. I also believe they block off the entire bar area when the bar is not open. There is some seating still blocked off in the bar area.

They've sorted out the security issues with the 2 entries. Now one is blocked off and pax are forced to walk past the reception desk.

Food looks the same as per usual in other QP's. Nothing too suprising there. A Blue Vein type cheese to go with your crackers, plus the usual ham/salami etc. Only one bar and slightly hidden down the back corner.

Thanks Mal. BlacKnoxTB is looking forward to the Coopers on tap. It's over Aus$8 a bottle here, so I'm looking forward to the savings :D .
