Good luck! Let us know if you get bonus points, but T&C suggest you should.
Applied 2 weeks ago on 22nd Jan and submitted payslips instantly, and still no response. Live Chat keeps telling me to wait 2-3 business days for a response. What a frustrating experience
Yep, will report back once I get the sign-up bonus
There shouldn't be any reason I don't, as I'm definitely outside the blackout period for the NAB Qantas stream of card.
All setup in Google Pay and have started spending already, before the physical card comes.
trying to determine what are 'eligible everyday purchases' for the min spend - can anyone tell me are household bills included in this? wording is a bit confusing in the t&c's. also they list qantas holidays and jetstar as not eligible - i am assuming this is only for the extra bonus point per dollar, not the min spend?? (i have some QF Hotels to pay for...)
seems to be the only exclusion in that section of the T&C.Everyday purchases exclude transactions NAB decides are wholly or partly for gambling or gaming purposes.
Which at times can also be excluded, but doesn't seem to be explicitly mentioned in these T&Cs.Transactions that don’t earn points include: Cash advances, bank charges, balance transfers, buying foreign exchange or travellers cheques, ATO payments, BPAY payments, transactions where a cardholder uses a card to access linked transaction accounts, and transactions for gambling or gaming purposes.
The bonus points hit the statement period after when the spend is met, not the statement period when it’s met.I've now definitely hit the $3k minimum spend for the sign-up bonus - reached in my 2nd month and my latest statement has been issued today, however the 60k bonus points have not been credited - only the "regular" spend points.
From memory, NAB have credited the sign-up bonus on the first statement after the spend criteria is reached, at the same time as "regular" points.
I know the cashback is usually given at some random point in the future, but it's the points that usually come promptly once a statement is issued.
Looking at my records, my last NAB Qantas card was cancelled in 12/2023 and I signed up for this current card in 01/2026, so comfortably over the 24 month blackout period.
I know there's always a disclaimer as per below, but in my experience it's always been credited upon the first statement upon reaching the spend criteria :
"Bonus Qantas Points will be credited to your Qantas Frequent Flyer Membership Account within three months of meeting the spend criteria."
The bonus points hit the statement period after when the spend is met, not the statement period when it’s met.
I saw it posted before but it must have disappeared. Were you on a different promotion than the current one where it was only $3k? Because the current promotion shows with a $5k spend. Not in my experience.
ie.
Month 1 - You don't meet the spend
Month 2 - You meet the spend
The statement issued for spend within Month 2 usually has the sign-up bonus (in my experience with 15+ cards).
