Reading this forum is training enough .Yada Yada said:I notice that we now have three moderators - NM - Lindsay Wilson and Dave Noble. :!:
Did you guys have to sit a training course?
I haven't noticed the forums here getting spammed very much. But then I guess I don't read every section and thread.Damien said:Here's hoping that the combination of new software and more moderators can help reduce the amount of spam we see...

I think some of us may test their patience. Not mentioning any names.straitman said:Congratulations & good luck to NM, Lindsay Wilson and Dave Noble. The pressure has moved from Admin to the Fab three. We'll all try and minimise your work load. (well most of us anyway!)![]()
Careful Yada Yada,Yada Yada said:Admin - I was thinking that it might be useful for forum n00bs if the "tag" underneath the moderators' user names was changed from "Posting freak" to "Moderator". It makes them a bit more visible on a regular basis.
Nah Lindsay, I reckon 'tis better to keep a low profile; moderators should be heard and not seen...Lindsay Wilson said:An interesting point, Yada Yada. Everybody knows that we've been "posting freaks" for a while. I was looking out for the "Evangelist" tag though(like over on Flyertalk).
Until people learn all the different areas on the screens, some may not read the borrom to see who the moderators are.
I assume that would be the middle. Its Lindsay's subtle way of bringing his passion of football into his posting, and being Middlesbrough supporter, he knows very well that the team is known as 'Borro'. So the term Borrom is synonymous with Middle, hence he was referencing the Middle of the page.serfty said:(BTW, what part of the web page frame is the "borrom")
Good to hear. I don't want it to become anything like FT where narky and smart-alec responses are standard fare.Lindsay Wilson said:But back on topic. I'm sure that NM, Dave Noble and I will try and uphold the vibrancy and integrity of this site.
