I haven't noticed the forums here getting spammed very much. But then I guess I don't read every section and thread.

I suspect it is not just spam, but admin probably doesn;t have time to look through each and every thread in a timely manner and deal with issues as they come up. A sign that the board has grown up a bit!!

That could be because admin has been very quick to clean up. It may be my timezone but I have noticed an increased trend in spam postings.

We were kindly invited by admin to become Moderators and help fight the forces of evil and darkness that lurk on our Boards. Seems that with increased traffic and a change to the BB software, admin's resources were stretched so we all agreed to step into the breach and assist where we can.

Actually I did note that the board has gained a second administrator.

Admin - I was thinking that it might be useful for forum n00bs if the "tag" underneath the moderators' user names was changed from "Posting freak" to "Moderator". It makes them a bit more visible on a regular basis.

An interesting point, Yada Yada. Everybody knows that we've been "posting freaks" for a while. I was looking out for the "Evangelist" tag though (like over on Flyertalk).

Until people learn all the different areas on the screens, some may not read the bottom to see who the moderators are.

Nah Lindsay, I reckon 'tis better to keep a low profile; moderators should be heard and not seen...

I assume that would be the middle. Its Lindsay's subtle way of bringing his passion of football into his posting, and being Middlesbrough supporter, he knows very well that the team is known as 'Borro'. So the term Borrom is synonymous with Middle, hence he was referencing the Middle of the page.
