Looks like last nights QF33 is departing again at 9pm tonight whereas the QF9 that diverted to SIN won’t leave Singapore until tomorrow morning bound for LHR.

SIN diversion and continue after rest period for QF9 (? +/- consideration of LHR curfews??).

QF33 PER return and earlier resumption from PER with a replacement crew. Perhaps only had one replacement crew available / able to get to PER so SIN diversion a better option for the second flight?

QF9 was further delayed only now departing SIN at 1pm. Hopefully a quick turnaround can get it out of LHR before curfew.

Congratulations @Berlin. Exciting times. And what a wonderful set of stories you will have to tell about the lead up to your wedding. Best wishes to you both.
Thank you so much for the kind message! :D

And it looks that since yesterday, Doha is operating more or less as per usual so fingers crossed!

Yes, I think Trump reaming out Netanyahu for breaking his ceasefire has deescalated things quite a bit on that side and with the other Gulf nations putting pressure on Iran, I’m pretty hopeful that that’s the end of the hot war and the interruptions to flights will stop. Obviously still the Iran Israel corridor would be well out of bounds.

But worth crossing my fingers for my QR flights next Sunday. 😊
