Middle East Airspace Diversions/Cancellations

Looks like last nights QF33 is departing again at 9pm tonight whereas the QF9 that diverted to SIN won’t leave Singapore until tomorrow morning bound for LHR.

Egypt and Saudi would be making a nice tidy sum in overflight fees and the Persian Gulf is again a well used corridor.



Although traffic around Doha and UAE airports still seems to be lighter than usual?

SIN diversion and continue after rest period for QF9 (? +/- consideration of LHR curfews??).

QF33 PER return and earlier resumption from PER with a replacement crew. Perhaps only had one replacement crew available / able to get to PER so SIN diversion a better option for the second flight?

QF9 was further delayed only now departing SIN at 1pm. Hopefully a quick turnaround can get it out of LHR before curfew.
