MH lounge in KLIA closing for renovations from Nov 1

I used teh VIP lounge once when the CX lounge was closed following some water damage from a leaking roof, back when CX lounge was the only OneWorld lounge at the airport. I was not impressed with the VIP lounge and was glad when the CX lounge was open for my next visit. But I think the MH Regional Lounge is better than the CX lounge, so would use it unless its overcrowded.
 
Has the business class side of the MH lounge in the satellite terminal re-opened? It was supposed to open on Dec 8, which was yesterday. If it is open and someone as used it, feedback would be much appreciated.

Friend of mine passing through today said it was still shut. I'm flying through tomorrow and can let you know if anything has changed, but I'm not holding my breath.
 
No surprises there. It would be nice to give an update if there are delays on their website.
Anyway, I'm hoping that the first class side is ready by the time I'm due to pass through in a month's time.
 
Still not open. They even made an announcement on the flight about the closure. I ducked into the VIP lounge on my way to the transit hotel and it's a clusterf***. Will check out the CX lounge and the MH regional lounge before my flight in the morning.

Here's some photos of the KUL CX lounge from a few weeks ago. Nice place to go as long as you avoid the HKG Departure times.



 
Well I tried to check out the CX lounge, but it was closed at 5.30am, so I just headed to the MH regional lounge, since my next flight departs from here anyway...Nice and quiet in here right now, probably won't last long though.
 
I did not bother with the VIP lounge. The CX lounge is nice but not much food offerings. The regional lounge is pretty good.
 
The lounge in the satellite terminal is supposedly due to re-open this weekend or early next week.

I will be through there again on 26 December and then 04 January. It would be interesting to see if the lounge has re-opened.
 
I'll be around on the 1st (Int->Dom,Dom->Dom) and the 4th (Dom->Dom,Dom->Int) should be all up and reoperating by then.

I'm due to pass through on Jan 12. The first class side had better be re-opened by then...
 
Seems there will be a few of us up there soon. I'll be there on 22 December and 4, 6, 12 and 25 January. The first and last visits will be long layovers so I'll be looking for a day room.

Yes, but showers are much better in the F section, and they even have sleeping rooms to use if required on the right side, but certainly yes, for lounging the J lounge on the left is better.
 
I was at the dom lounge this afternoon. I've been told that it will probably open next weekend.
