MH Domestic flights not eligible for credit

So V and Z it seems, which are included on the earn table, not exception (except MAS Wings which are not an afiliate)

As per the above, Z is the example that was declined.

Correct credit for Z Class flights came through this morning after emailing e-Ticket and copies of BPs on Monday night (so thankyou QF for quick procesing).

My advice if you are missing flights after > 1 week (apparently Tuesday tend to be posting days - so perhaps after the next Tue after 1 wk...) for problemtic fare classes (eg Z Class), email [email protected] a copy of your e-Ticket (that shows fare class) and BPs.

I would suggest you DO NOT do an online missing points claim. Pure speculation, but IMHO, MH are sending the info over the QF, but some fare classes are ending up in the 'bit bucket' in QFF system. An online request is probably just going back to MH and they are responding to QF that it has already credited the flights...

Again, speculation IMHO. But I know what I will be doing in Sep after I do a return Euro trip Z Class over and back...

How important are boarding passes? I had 4 Z class flights last month but unfortunately I only had one boarding pass left as my bag was stolen during the trip.

Wonder if electronic ticket will do the job.

Thanks

There need the BP and e-ticket.

You don't always need the bp. Can always try it, esp. if you a missing a middle flight. (You just argue- how did I get get from here to here, my bag was stolen etc.) I rarely send in bps and that don't frequently request them.

Edit- this is for general advice. I haven't claimed MH flights specifically.

I called Qantas and the lady asked me to wait a couple more weeks as I already submitted the claim online a week ago. The worst case is I have to get a confirmation letter (that I actually flew) from MH she said. The BP I have here is my 3rd flight so at least it proved I flew the first two (all flights were on the same ticket). Will wait and see.

PS I entered QFF number when I made a booking. Would have thought Qantas could at least see posting info.

Just a bit of an update.

My Z class flights claims came back as already credited to other FF program too.

After sending a ticket and a boarding pass, the flight was credited straight away.

However, Qantas cannot credit the flights that I dont have boarding passes unless I get an official letter from MH. (supervisor says so)
Now it's time to chase the letter from MH. Got transfered to 3 different departments and none of them have a clue so sending an email now.

If you travel on Z class flights, keep boarding passes safe. Actually take a photo on the phone as soon as you get it in case the bag is stolen like mine.

MH customer service email is quite good. Sent a request asking for a confirmation letter in the morning and got the letter in the evening.

If you happen to be in the same situation like me (dont have boarding pass and need a confirmation letter), send an email to [email protected]. Dont bother calling.

Last time I sent them a compliment email (about their service) in the evening, they got back to me the next business day.

Forwarded to Qantas last night..gave them a call this morning and all sorted now. I'm platinum now yay!!!

How annoying. All the deals of the day seem to be O class, which look to earn zero on QFF. Grrr.

Didn't care about the miserly points offering, but SCs would be nice.
