HI all,
Quick one. Anyone know from experience how long it generally takes for MH flights to post to a Qantas account.
Flew in J and had QF number printed on boarding cards.

Thanks,
EF

We flew on the 23 Jan, and still waiting for them to come through. Although when we flew them a year ago it was only a couple of days.

I flew two sectors, one in D and one in Z (both earning J classes for QFF from what I can tell) on 31/1 and still nothing for me.
I lodged a claim missing points query, maybe that was a mistake, I'm not sure...

Having over 10 MH flights in the last 12 months on all different days i've worked out that MH points post on Monday nights and CX/KA on Tuesday nights.

End of 2013 flew to and from KUL and BKK on MH in J, and SCs and points were posted the day after flying for me.

That's my experience as well. MH posts on Mondays for the previously week, so if you took a flight on the weekend, it might appear in next week's lot. However, after this time, the chance of it automatically posting is minimal. Probably best to chase up as needed.

So I'm almost two weeks ago - I lodged the "missing points" claim online - should I also be emailing them the boarding pass, or assume that what I've done is sufficient?
I have 6 MH sectors coming up in the next two weeks, and I'd love not to have to wait months for them to credit as they'll get me to QFF Gold ready for my upcoming US trip next month, which will be useful for flying domestically for lounge access. (AFAIK a QF PS or NB gets no lounge love when flying AA even in domestic F, unless a OW Sapphire or Emerald?

It's been a long time since I've had to claim missing points *touch wood* so I'm not sure how good the process is these days. However, back in the days, if a flight doesn't credit, the chance of it being found from the online claim was minimal. My usual process then was: wait 2 weeks for the auto-post, then wait 2 weeks for the online claim, then send off the email with the bp and wait another 2 weeks, at which point, if I don't hear anything back, I'll send a follow up email. That was as far as I had to go to get my missing points/status.

I flew with MH on the 7th and on the 12th of Feb, I have not got anything yet. Was expecting that it shouldn't take longer than 7 days but who know. I have just lodged a missing points claim for the first sector and will probably do the same for the last sector as soon as the claim form allows me so I know it's lodged and I can focus on other things.

The 7th is a Saturday, so you'll probably see it posted automatically this coming Monday night/Tuesday morning. The 2nd sector is on Thursday, and chances are it will be posted on the same date as well.

If you're flying on weekend, you really shouldn't expect it to post until at least the week after. i.e. 8 or 9 days later.

Flew 16 days ago here, still no dice. Fingers crossed I see it coming Monday night but I'm not holding my breath, despite QF NumbEr printed on my boarding passes.

Mine came through this morning from the 23/1. :)

Yep, same here - mine credited overnight for flights taken on the 31st (for which I'd lodged a missing points claim). Good stuff. 4 more MH sectors today (ugh, present me hates past me) and my SC balance should start looking extremely healthy soon!

Yep. I had a couple flights from the 9th-12th all posted today. I had a MH codeshare on CX on the 14th which has yet to be posted. Fingers crossed that the MH codeshare on CX will post tonight. Missing 20SC from WP.

Bad news for me. It turns out the flights I took were not eligible to earn QANTAS points/Status Credits on them. A bit annoying because I looked at the earning table and thought it was eligible. I screwed up because it was not. Oh well, I learnt my lesson for next time.

I contacted MH and will try to credit it to enrich instead. It's probably not going to happen but worth a try!
