I directed my Plat A+ to another account, same name, different email as otherwise would not have got use of AMEX paying for it this year.
Basically the same as the QBR offer I posted earlier EXCEPT there’s an extra 10k points.I was sent this offer today (I let my A+ membership lapse at the end of last year):
Elevate your ALL membership with new benefits and instant rewards.
As an Accor Plus Explorer member, enjoy a free night, up to 50% off stays & dining, exclusive offers, events and more.
A 20 Status Nights bonus will instantly boost your ALL status and, for a limited time, we’ll gift you 3,000 Reward points* towards stays, dining and more.
Offer ends 2 July... don’t miss out.

In Indonesia currently there is similar offer also, plus referral offer going on..I was sent this offer today (I let my A+ membership lapse at the end of last year):

Yes - if it were me, @RooFlyer , and depending on whether you’d be missing out on A+ stay or restaurant discounts if you deferred renewal beyond August, I’d be looking at letting the membership lapse in August and sign up again in December. That way you’ll stretch Platinum out to Dec 2026 and have the whole year to build status again in 2026, else fall to Gold in 2027
Cheers,
Matt
If you don't have any Accor stays requiring red hot rates or F&B discounts between Sep and Nov this year, then I'd still suggest re-joining A+ in December, but then the benefit is only going to be those additional 4 months of Platinum at the back end of 2026, and if you don't need those months, then perhaps easier to let it renew as you saidAaaaaahhh. I think the penny has finally dropped![]()
Thanks.
However, I think I will renew in August. My travel will drop off markedly after July next year so no chance of earning Plat during 2026 even with the bonus Plus nights and additional length of time to earn next year if I renewed in December. Plus, most of my stays are & will be in Europe, where Plat hardly counts.
Plus, the free night value almost covers the cost of the Discover Plus package (if you plan it right), so the renewal cost isn't really an issue.

Member for a day will be phased out by 31 July
Oh, great - a benefit I wasn’t aware and will be “enhanced” before I get to use it….
