Some time ago, I desperately needed an affordable, last-minute, around-the-world trip to interview a bunch of people for my new book and posted in AFF offering $100 plus a shout-out in the book when it was published.

Well, The Darkest Web comes out on 14 March, and I made good on my promise:

(Yes, I called it 'Travel Hacking', get over it, it fits with the theme of the book)

For anyone who's interested, here's a trip report of the people I met on the trip

Thanks AFF, and Mahir in particular
And yes, it will be available in airports :)

Congrats! Book looks very interesting. Don't suppose I'll be able to find it in Yangon, will have to ask somebody to bring me up a copy from Oz some time.

Good luck!

Not sure I know who Mahir is, but congratulations to Lawlass, and well done Mahir.

Looks like a great read. Are there any plans for an audiobook version? Preferably on Audible :)

Sam I always wondered about your surname of H004 ;)

I just always thought it was Irish and the name was pronounced Sav. ;) And then with some obscure reference to James Bond, and except being 004.

Sam is my first name, H is the first letter of my last name and the 004 was a suggestion from IBM back in the day when the first choice of a username was taken, stuck ever since... quite boring really! :p

Wow Lawlass, it’s been a while since we’ve caught up and I had no idea you were writing a book, Sounds intriguing

I guess you were on ABC news breakfast this morning. Unless someone else has written a book about the dark web.

And there was a great article in the book in the Guardian today. Congratulations.

Well done Lawlass on writing the book and being able to avoid those hitman.

Congratulations on the release of the new book Lawlass, I'll try and pick up a copy for my travels this weekend.

@Lawlass was interviewed on ABC Radio Brisbane last Wed night. Fortuitously I was driving home at the right time so rang in and asked a question using an assumed name - telling her I was QF WP during the question . Thankfully we have met previously and she knew the meaning of my screen name.

Will have to find the book and have a read - oh it's available at airports - time to utilise my Amex offer for MEL airport in a couple of weeks;)
