Booked a CR via Hong Kong over another routing because of the attraction of lounges for a 6 hour stopover with OWE status. Of course, the onward leg is with Jetstar Japan and the alternative routing is now unavailable…

You should get access using the One-World rule based on the arriving flight being long-haul. Paging @serfty to the yellow courtesy phone.

Not a true mistake, but a dilemma of my own making. Inching towards LTP picked up a BA J, ARN > LHR, then LHR > VIE at less than $5 a SC. Dilemma is arrive LHR at 22:35 and depart next day at 7:35. Thinking of snoozing in the lounge (which I have done on too many occasions), but it closes at 10pm. Aerohotel wants £230 for the few hours, so do I sleep in Terminal 3? I've gone the option of the Renaissance for £100, so bumps up the cost of SC. Bugger!!!!!!
 
Pre-paid an Avis booking (not realising cancellations incur an $82.50 charge) only to have AMEX issue me a 25% rebate offer the very next morning. Time will tell whether I get the credit, but I'm not counting on it.
