I have this card and also the Jetstar card (although will soon cancel the Jetstar card). This has caused no end of problems with my internet banking. They sent me a letter with the access code for the Macquarie card being the same as the Jetstar card. But apparently this has caused neither to work. It has been with their IT department for over a week now and they can't fix it. Why they can't just cancel the access number and give me two separate new numbers I will never know.
On the positive side, the bonus points are no problems. My first statement month for Macquarie has just finished (I had to get my balance by ringing because couldn't see online) and I put through about $2.5K and I have 3.5K points come onto my statement (which would be right there were a couple of big work items that weren't petrol, groceries, utilities, plus my house insurance). Plus I got 25 points listed separately from when I selected a seat for my upcoming A380 flight.
They are going to email me a statement so when I have that I will check items off to see all bonuses have come through.
