Has anyone managed to obtain a definitive list of what constitutes 'eligible' purchases?

Not aware of such a list

My phone, electricity and Coles spend were all given the promised 5:1 earn rate.

I'm hopeful I can just spend as normal with all eligible spend running solely through the card and then buy gift cards to top it up if I don't make the $5K.

Fersea, I had the same problem with same code for the two cards. They gave me a new access code for the visa and the problem was fixed. It took them more than a month to sort it out though.

SWMBO has had the same issue. Several calls, password resets, trying to blame our web browser etc. What did you need to do to convince them to give you a new access code to get it to work?

Probably the most useless service ever encountered from a bank. First I didn't get a password sent. Rang and 2 days later got that. Then I log in and there are no accounts showing, another phone call with blaming the web browser, etc. Then they direct me to another web site that crashes. Their resolution ? Try again in 1 hour. I can't wait to rack up my $5k spend then flick these idiots.

They are very hard to deal with. All I can suggest is persistence. I pretty much called them every second day. If there wasn't points at stake I wouldn't have bothered.

Their call centre is friendly enough but they seem to take a long time doing anything. I now have a new Macquarue access number for this card and it works. However the old number for the Jetstar card still does not despite a reset password. I have asked them to give me a new number for that card too as the old number is clearly corrupted.

Biggest amount of time with a call centre for limited benefit since Queensland Go card to get my card sorted that I use once in a blue moon but that is another story!!

Applied the 29th Jan.....when should I findout if I receive...via mail or email?

I called to enquire about the yet-to-be-received complimentary QC passes.

Took 5 min to establish my ID, only 2 seconds to explain as a matter of fact "You should continue to wait... They're coming... soon"

1) You do not need to establish ID to reply to a generic questions "when would the passes arrive ?"

2) Reading a 2-sec scripted reply after the exhaustive security screening Qs seems overboard too me.

I did not request any personal details like resetting PW, account balance etc....

BTW, has anyone here received the QC passes yet ?

I got my Priority Pass card some weeks back already.

Handy to have but not sure when I would be using it.

i just called Customer Service too as my first spend was the 26/12 and want my 2 passes for travel on the 23/2....lady said she would put in a request to have this expedited and will call me back, lets see...on another note my recent $1200 spend on Insurance did not earn the 5 point rate...Does anyone know that if I bought Wish Cards at Safeway as part of my shopping bill would they attract the 5 point rate..need to increase my spend to earn the max points..thanks

I have finally got the internet banking for both Jetstar and Macquarie cards working!!

As far as a list of eligible purchases, I have asked and they don't have one. Someone mentioned the other day they got bonus points for phone bill. My Telstra bill contains the home phone, internet, mobile and Foxtel and that didn't seem to attract the bonus points but all the petrol station and supermarket purchases have.

Do we know about the gift vouchers? What about Costco, is that considered a supermarket?

I got my quarterly electricity, gas and water bills last night - presumably they will be considered utilities. I presume council rates (or ACT Govt rates in my case) won't?

Applied 29th Jan....Rang application enquires "option" 4 today.
Nice lady....could not spell my name.....asked every ID question under the sun(5 I think).......went further to check current status.....
Came back, application received....currently reviewing......letter will be sent when decision made.....wtf ha ha ha ha
No time, date given
Water bill arrived.....mmmmm
Anyone paid 4X a Utilities bill (prepay) to get the points in time?
Gift cards get bonus points?
Planning on dumping Jetstar next week...interesting to see if effects outcome.

Electricity, water bills: YES, 5:1

Yet to try Costco

Let us know if you do

Got your QC passes yet, fersea ?

I took one for the team and bought a $10 Coles gift voucher today. Will report if I get bonus points. Interestingly it took me from under $30 to over but I didn't get the petrol voucher.

Interested in this card, but I spend a lot of my $ on 5% off Coles/Woolworths gift cards through entertainment book, so I presume are NOT included. Utilities are only a couple of thousand for the 6 month period. I would be missing out on up to $250 of gift card savings to get the 25000 pts. I suppose as it's free it is still worth it!? Virgin card looks to be the other best option, even with the $129 fee.

[h=2]Guys, those who received the first statement - does it have post billpay barcode ?[/h]

Also taken one for the team with a $50 Myer voucher bought from Woolies, will post the result in about a week.

Anyone else still having zero contact after several weeks of applying? Wife got a call about a week after signing up (they thought they were calling her HR dept), but since then, nothing. No card, no call, no letters...?
