Thanks for the updates
AFF Q: What will stop users jumping ship?

QF A: They believe they still have the best loyalty program in Australia.
Hmmm....i think we the consumer are the best judge of that!

I agree kpc - they must have seen the leakage of business pax from PER, ADL, OOL and CNS who aren't booked on JQ and instead are on VA.

We have a number of members here on AFF that were greatly affected - and even if conditions get better sufficiently to reinstate the services, by that stage, the damage is done.

Best wishes to everyone now on their way to the airport and then onto their flights home. Look forward to further updates

Thanks to all who contributed for the benefit of those of us not attending, looks like a very constructive event!

As a newcomer it was fantastic. I'm sure I'll see some of those in the lounge for their home bound flights.

I'm now safely on City Rail :D
The lunch was fantastic, beautiful food.
A fairly full and frank discussion was had and yes QF WP Amanda was indeed there and present at our table along with Justin Hyams, HVR, John K, Medhead (sat side by side may I add) amongst others including the ever charming JohnM and the birthday boy Pablo.
Happy to take any questions anyone might have :)

So basically as thought nothing will change as a result of this lunch

The message was that the program isn't set in stone and they are keen for feedback, but their model is to see how things work before making changes. So while there were some key points they took onboard, others might need more investigating over time.

Expecting ASA's (at classic award level) or a return to the previous points/SC table is quite frankly unrealistic. What is realistic is seeing how things work and making changes as necessary.

Nice surprised look there samh004. Lots of empty glasses of wine on the table - well done team :D

Good to see you having a coffee samh004 ;)

I hope Shrek loves his surprise gift

Just a pity that he is overseas now and could probably make good use of at least one of them on the return trip  :(
