Hi everyone,
Sorry, this may have been covered but Qantas site unclear to me and couldn't find on this forum

My son is travelling on LA806 (QF 27 Codeshare) and I have transferred a lounge pass to him. He is a bronze QFF but wondering if he will definitely be able to access business lounge prior to flight seeing as he booked via LAN.

I'm going to say no. Typically those sorts of lounge passes require QF booking, QF flight number on QF metal.

However it never hurts to ask at the lounge, the worst they will do is say no.

I have the same understanding as above. I interpret the lounge invites as Qantas Club membership for 1 flight therefore it would need to be a QF ticket.

Absolutely worth asking at the lounge.

If that's one of the electronic passes it needs to be attached to his booking ahead of time, which won't be possible if it's not a QF (or JQ) PNR

No he won't be able to use the lounge pass. Only if he was on the QF27 marketed flight which he is not.
