Background to this thread
We have noticed an increase in the posting of questions regarding what Airport Lounges are available at specific airports when travelling on specific airlines. While one can be assured of access at the airline lounge when travelling on that airline (provided you have Lounge membership), thing start to get complex when travelling on a codeshare or partner airline.

Posting Guidelines
Please post your questions about Lounge access in this thread. Be sure to include the airline you are travelling on, the airport (and terminal, if known), and any Airline Status or Airport Lounge membership programs you have.

When answering questions, please include the original question. This will assist in readability and management of the thread.

(Special thanks to Princess Fiona for suggesting this new thread.)

For WP using QF lounge on arrival benefit, does the guesting eligibility apply?

Not sure if officially or not, but I've brought MrsDaver6 into the PER J lounge on arrival without issue.
When all the noise was made over guesting rules changing, I recall it was clarified by someone that the same rules would apply to Arrivals access for WPs as for Departures... i.e. travelling together, or same day travel on QF or a partner airline... but that said, I don't know that I've ever (pre or post the changes) had to scan anything for arrivals entry, and when I say why I'm there they usually just wave us though. No looking at who, or if they are flying or have flown that day. Certainly worth a shot.

Sadly, you're right. Will still be the breakfast offering, which IMHO has gone downhill post Covid.

Thanks to you both.

Family is on the same flight but different PNR.

I’ll give it a whirl in the morning and if all else fails we can try the brunch service at @Daver6 diner and wine bar instead. 😉🤣

I've never been scanned in on arrival at PER. Last time they just wanted to see the app to confirm I'm platinum.

You might be disappointed with dinner. Just landed in India 😉

Absolutely no issue if they are with you on that flight... even if on a different flight it's fine (so long as a QF/partner one)... I wasn't sure if maybe they were meeting you at PER on your arrival (i.e. having come in from outside to meet you).

Cheers,
Matt,

I'm afraid not - QF flight numbers only... I think you can pay in to the FJ NAN lounge though? Might be worth a look, if there a while.

Edit: adding the link - it's a 'yes' to paid entry (also to Priority Pass and Dragon Pass, which includes some M/C products):

Thankyou - as I expected, but one can always live in hope :D
Despite what that website says, it’s been reported that peeps get in on FJ codes. 🤷‍♂️

There used to be a sign on the desk with the QF access rules. Maybe take a photo and post it.

Another query.

AFAIK, there are no airline lounges in Havana Airport.

I found from internet searches (disregarding a multitude of old inaccurate reviews and comments), in terminal 3 the terminal most used for international arrivals and departures (except US carriers) there is a paid arrivals lounge ["Paraiso"] and paid departures lounge ["Elegante"].

I was wondering if any AFFers had used either of the lounges and would be prepared to comment.

Hello. VA Gold, booking Y using velocity points on EY marketed & operated (SYD-AUH-MAA). Wondering if I will have access to any lounge at SYD and AUH? I had a look at the below link on VA website - but I don't think I understand. The VA website says VA Gold will have access to a lounge under EY section, but doesn't say which lounge

I followed the link from VA website to EY website - which on searching under "worldwide lounges" shows SYD as a lounge location, but does not say if VA Gold (flying Y) will be let into the lounges at SYD or AUH.

Can someone shed some light on this if you are aware of the rules please?

Don’t know about the Australian lounges but at AUH you will get access to the EY J lounge (or F lounge if VA Plat)

Can I guest someone travelling on QF staff into a lounge?

I would be looking at PVG (MU or CX lounge) with all party travelling on QF. The assumption is the person travelling on staff would have their BP and confirmation in time. I would be travelling on J as well as using OWE if possible.

Yes. I did this recently at the SYD F lounge. Friend just happen to be travelling on the same flight.
