Several Years ago I lost my passport in Hawaii. I was able to re-enter Aus. using my photocopy and drivers license. As a result there was no I-94 collected (because it was in the lost passport. 12 months ago I contacted US consulate who suggested I send any material I had to prove I left the USA. Aus immigration provided reentry flight details and I had my boarding pass with luggage claim ticket. These were sent to ACS in London Kentucky (US) as requested. I have heard nothing in over 12 months. Any suggestions about what I should do next or do I just risk a trip to the US.

Thanks, Malard

Welcome to AFF.

As you will see from other threads (such as http://www.frequentflyer.com.au/community/your-questions/re-entry-us-unclaimed-visa-23275.html ) its common for the green stub to be missed under different conditions. Many people just throw them away.

I suggest you carry copies of the "proof" of not being in the USA (i.e. entry into Australia) with you when you next travel to the USA. However, I expect nothing will be said when you go back to the USA.

Note that since you lost your passport, you must have since been issued with a new passport, so there is every likelihood the USA systems won't even know you are the same person anyway.

Thanks NM, I have been at a loss and concerned about being refused entry at the other end.:p
