Perhaps I am missing somehting but for $14k you could get QF J at the moment for 2 people

Pre or post sale? Pre-sale I priced it at near $20,000 for the flights/times/route I wanted. Might be $14K now but then Y+ is $9K so still saved $5,000

$4.5k SYD-LHR return Y+ is better than the usual $5.6k that I usually see.
Alternatively for 128k points & $600 SYD-LHR in J (given JASA fare availability at this price point - I did see some today for my itinerary).
And purchasing a one way in Y+ from LHR $2k.
(Total = $2.6k + 128k ffp's for J / Y+ combination)

Hi blu, I am still learning the ropes with JASA's, but I am currently trying to book a JASA SYD-LHR in September. Would you mind giving me clues as to what dates the 128k points $600 JASA you saw were? How did you find such a low JASA? Apologies to all if I am being indiscreet!

Thanks for your help,
V

Made use of the sale domestically for some fun at the end of the year. I don't think 6 flights in a day is pushing it, do you?

Not sure if that is, but I'm just wondering, is 15 flights in 3 days pushing it? (might be 4 days actually, due to the time differences)

i would think yes - the days I have done 4 regional Asia flights have left me incredibly tired, stuffed full and inebriated :) :)

Life of a 19yo status runner then? WP, 2 nights in Vegas and HHonors Gold. Sounds like a very nice 4 days to me ;P (actually turns out might actually be 5 days considering time zones and 3 nights in hotels)

$450 return BNE-SIN via SYD/MEL, got to be a good value SC run!

90SC via MEL and 80SC via SYD (return trip) Not too bad for some quick SC's out of BNE.

On second look, where's the $450 coming from?! All I can see is $699 return...

Sounds awesome. I was going to do 12 in 2 days but decided to leave a day buffer incase the first flight goes pear shaped and throws everything else out. Original routing credit of course.

I wonder if there are any TR's about how some of us handle some of these big runs.

You need to spend some time in South America on your browser.

one of my fares I was looking at on another country site has increased dramatically... changes afoot?

Hi,
What do you think would be the best flight for points would be from MEL Return for less than $250?
thanks
