if it worked, it should have worked immediately on the app
All my small transactions at Coles don't count towards LC. Over $50 does. I have just done a $25, $35 and a $45 transaction over the last 2 days to see where the minimum spend is....probably in the same boat as prozerran. We'll see.
hmmm does that mean it didnt work?
"You can select 10 stores from a list Amex presents you in the app to play Local Champion at, and it seems that if no-one else is playing for status at a given location, then it takes either 3 or 5 transactions in 30 days to become the Local Champion. "
hm
so in 30 days?

thanks for that, since 9 out of my 10 were 3 transactions, Ijust assumed it was teh default for places with no interest,>SOPOOR
Just means they have low number of transactions (likely not much competition - someone has made 2 more purchases than you are currently LC, so you need to make 3 recognised transactions to become LC - you will get LC points on your 3rd transaction)
thanks for that, since 9 out of my 10 were 3 transactions, Ijust assumed it was teh default for places with no interest,
the shop im looking at says 3 transactions, but its rather higher spend $100+ for me
if I did hte 3 transactions, and then became champion, and didnt buy anything for a while , and then I lose LC status, then I wont get the bonus will i????
Time to get get/use a different card?
question: if Iwas making multiple purchases for the first time
eg $100 x 20 all o nteh same day
and it was 2 transactions required
would I start getting bonus points on the 3rd trsnaction automatically?
or do I havet o wait until I become the local champion
