Yep. I reckon it will take two more years “IF” I get WP each year. But I meant to say no too far behind .... oops

If I get to Platinum this year, I will also get LTG. So, if I do a status run, would I be doing it for WP, or for LTG?

Update: I'm back from the LTG achieving trip to HK. The "My Card" expiry in the App was already updated to "Expiry LIFETIME" in the cab from the airport!!!
The Mrs and I will be taking full advantage of the clubs in upcoming Y trips on both QF and Jetstar!!!!

Currently 10,400SCs at my current rate probably 5-6 years to go. the app doesn’t seem to show the coughulative total.

Today flying on Virgin chatting to my friend telling how good VA business was and they told me they had reached life time Gold, I guess I was thrilled for him as much as he probably was in reaching the milestone although not sure if the rest of his friends care about status.

One good thing about LTG is the refund of QP membership. I could have got it back earlier and pushed during the BA Terraces/Galleries debacle in 2012 but didn't.

I'm currently on 23,335 life time SCs. My earning has slowed down a lot since "simpler and fairer" and the halving of SC earn from partners. Used to easily get to ~2,700 each year, not enough for Plat 1, but enough for the "loyalty" bonus.

With the changes, I have a hard time getting more then 1900 each year.

Unless you bought Lifetime QC, like me in 2004  :( (it's alright, it was tax deductible over 10 years). Although I'd happily accept any amount they wish to offer..
You won't get a cent back from Qf....I tried a couple of years ago :(

I’ve got some residual QP membership from ages ago. Is there an unpublished request that can be made? How long does the refund take? Do they really look back 10+ years to see how much you paid and the calculate CPI etc to determine residual value?

I’m interested to know this also.
