I've got a bit of a strange trip coming up in April that the QF Multi-City booking engine isn't coping with - any suggestions?

1st leg is MEL - LAX - can be via SYD etc - that's fairly straight forward

2nd leg is LAX - MNL - this is the bit that the search engine is stuck on

3rd leg is MNL - MEL - can be via SYD etc - again fairly straight forward.

The other kicker is that I need to score 205 SC's on this trip to retain status.

Is MEL - LAX - SYD - MNL - SYD - MEL all on QF the best (but most tiring option)?

Could you do LAX-HGK-MNL on Cathay and MNL-SYD-MEL on QF? You might have to call QF or use a TA.

Mel/Lax/Hkg/Mnl/Syd/Mel on QF/CX by my calculations earns 135 sc in discount economy, so you’ll have to book flex or J to get your 205 sc’s

Cheers! I'm thinking it is going to be something like MEL/LAX/SYD/MNL/SYD/MEL all on QF
