Hello All,

Just seen that there are no longer any T4 flights from LAX. I preferred T4 personally. Which did you prefer T4 or TBIT? Also why did QF not stay with AA in T4?

Are QF16 departures moving to TBIT?

Makes sense, if so, to have all arrivals / departures from a common terminal.

I am guessing it is a combination of things, but seeing they are all Int arr/dep makes sense to have them from a dedicated Int terminal.

QF16 still departing terminal 4 for booking Jan 2013.
Don't think there are any arrivals at terminal 4 now.

I came across the same, but I don't think it will happen until the TBIT West development is completed in a year or three.

I'm not sure if T4 could deal with the A380s, so those flights have to be through TBIT. The lounge in T4 (was there Weds night) is still branded as QF and AA, and as others have pointed out, QF16 to BNE is still leaving from T4.
From a WP (& higher) perspective, the Flagship lounge at T4 is nice, and not as crowded. I showered there Weds, then got the 8:30 bus to TBIT for 9:30 boarding of QF12. I hadn't checked out the Flounge at TBIT since becoming WP. As a champagne lover, I found the Taittinger in TBIT Flounge to be superior to whatever the heck was on offer in T4. The food was a bit better - two hot choices; whereas T4 only has one choice. I'd be really won over if TBIT Flounge also had the little packs of Stacy's cinnamon and sugar chips. I was going to go to the T4 Flagship lounge just to get a few packets of those chips originally ... ;)
