It seems the repair bill for this one will be a little less than the infamous BKK bunker shot.

The Cessna 152, owned by the Royal Victorian Aero Club, was on a training flight out of Moorabbin Airport when its engine failed.

Metropolitan Fire Brigade (MFB) spokesman Trevor Woodward said the plane landed on the 12th fairway of the Capital Golf Course at Heatherton in Melbourne's southeast at about 12.20pm (AEST).

Hmmm, if I was playing the 12th hole and saw that Cessna in the middle of the fairway, I'd be calling it an "immovable obstruction". I wonder whether it made the local rules board for the next day's play :?:
