I guess if you have a bag that you REALLY like, you could use one of these, which I have used in the past:
Robot Check

Pretty sure I have 2 of these at home that I don't use, didn't really like them but Im guessing for some people they will work (big jacket, big bag?). I will have to look, if I have them I'll put give them away on that other giveaway thread.

I have one at home too. Being spatially challenged I couldn't get it to work properly.

Sorry, evening spent watching the last 2 episodes of season 1 of Fargo.
Photos first thing in the morning.
BTW the brown looks fab, appears to have same burgundy-ish red interior as yours Pushka.

So quickly a back story as to the reason for this thread...
Below is the way I prefer to travel during the day. Iphone 6, camera, small travel wallet & hankie.
These go into my cargo pants zip pockets and pinned closed, hands free for the day.

If no secure pockets in pants, then I use this small Guess purse/bag which I wear cross over. The zip is at the bottom, so if someone tries to open it, contents fall out. You must hold it to open it. Holds IPhone 6, small camera & has its own slots for cards/money.

small travel wallet for comparison sizing.

But now I have the larger FZ200 camera, will need water during the day etc, so here is my Baggallini.
The colour not too bad against my medium Antler bag.

As to the inside, does not fit my HP 11" laptop within the padding, except turned up, but would fit the Ipad Ok. Plenty of room for the HP within the centre of bag.
FZ200 camera case, purse, glasses etc will all fit no problems. Still plenty of room for cardigan, other camera, hubbys wallet/phone and purchases during the day.
My only disappointment is the HP not fitting. The padded section does not go the whole way across the bag.
It's not too feminine so hubby can also carry it, will fold flat to fit into suitcase if not needed, and my main issue - it will slide onto suitcase / carry-on bag handles.

Clearly they think everyone uses an ipad when travelling not a PC. Which given airline security makes sense. I wonder if there is some way of making that flap larger. Maybe taking it out and sewing in wide elastic? I dont carry a laptop so not an issue for me.

Me & I pad's don't seem to get on. I also need a place to store our gazillion photos taken while away. So the laptop becomes my backup for photos along with a thumb drive. Ipad does not have that capability (usb/SD/MMC slots) plus I find using AFF much easier on PC.

Bindibuys - is your bag "mocha cheetah" in colour ?? And if so how would you describe it ? Is it a bright or dull brown?

I think I am going to buy the Baggallini Hobo Tote - but I cant decide on Mocha Cheetah or Purple -and its a great price on Amazon.

(or gents that take an interest in your ladies travel gear)

Well I have just bought my lady her newest carry on bag. Though this one is perhaps left field of the OPs intent.

However it did need to suit the requirements of our August Trip to France and Italy.

* Will be her prime bag on the various flights - While going in J on the long-hauls we will also use a cheap Y flight from Lyon-Naples (so had to be able to fit budget airline requirements)
* Be suited for cycling including one week doing a circuit in the Alsace wine Region
* Be suited for day-walks near Mt Blanc in France and the Walk of The Gods on the Amalfi Coast.
* Provide good organisation with a variety of compartments for a broad range of activities and gear and clothing.
* Cater for water bottles and/or water bladder
* Be suitable in the rain

We were very happy with our purchase last year of some Osprey Hiking Packs for our Annapurna Base Camp Trek last December and so I have bought her the Osprey Escapist 32.

Caters for everything from a bicycle helmet to a special pocket so that your sunnies will not be scratched.

I think I am finished with backpacks that look like I need to do hard work when using them. Maybe security issue in many parts of the world but you can wear them in front I guess. I know of two couples who had their rented car keys in the backpack - which was stolen. A nightmare.

Finally made the decision - bought it today ! Now the long wait for delivery !
