Right, ...
If I were to book on QF's website, for a fare for flight on LA801 from AKL to SYD, its Aud$302.
If I were to book on LA(N)'s website, and enter my QFF #, the fare is Aud$149!
Assuming SC is the same, in DY (Q class on LA's website), thats 15 SC. And 1 point per mile flown... As both are OneWorld, so earns of SC are still 15 SC post Jul 14.
So, is QF making a clear gross profit of $160 odd? Just using the difference of LA801 & QF322!
As in my profile, I am a QFF member, but because LA arr into AKL at 4.30am, and immi opens at 5am or so, and LA801 leaves (HOPEFULLY-I know sometimes they have delays or cancellations) at 6am, so I won't be using the QF/LA lounge.
