If not, what stations/shows do you normally listen to?

I can't stand how cheerful commercial morning radio is, and have a philosophical objection to Kyle.

What's a radio?

I make sure I have a solid backlog of podcasts to listen to - if I ever do listen to radio on the morning commute then I have zero allegiance to anything but what sounds good/interesting at the time. (I find most of the morning FM hosts are annoying in their own ways - JJJ usually the best of the bunch though)

I do listen to commercial radio as I have bowed to public pressure from the kids. Fortunately being based north of Sydney I don't get the choice of Kyle and Jackie O. They are (or were) broadcast here as "The Hour of Power" early evening on the local Austereo. Can't say I'll miss them

Journo who sits on the centre-right wing of the spectrum. A lot of people dislike her because of her personal life even though it never seems to enter into her professional work.

Me too!

I'm not normally awake for breakfast radio. The main time I hear radio now is when a business is playing it or I'm in a cab.

I don't actually own a radio tuner. The only time I listen to it is if I'm in someone's car (eg: taxi) with it on.

I stick to AM here in Melbourne, really only for clock - radio wakeup.

Listen to AW, between the ads some some occasionally intelligent stuff can be gleaned.
