I just did a mini SIN crawl the other day.

Qantas lounge opens 2:30pm and food available from opening.

BA opens 3:00pm with some snacks/sandwiches available. Some hot food out at 5:00pm.

EK lounge closes at 1:00pm and re-opens at 5:00pm with hot food available.

I'm not sure if there are any other lounges available but that's the order I would/will do the crawl. The Qantas lounge is a zoo from 5:00pm(ish).

I've had to withdraw due to ... something I can't miss.

I will be cancelling my QFF booking on QF36 in J for 9 June tomorrow, Monday, around 10am. Who knows if it will pop out the other side, but good luck ...

CX is the only other lounge, but you have to be flying CX and would miss the EK lounge.

Isn't the CX lounge in T4?

Still late lunch in Qantas lounge and early dinner in EK lounge.

FWIW, as of 5:50pm, the booking was still visible under 'manage my Booking' and points hadn't been refunded (I knew there would be a delay in that, but though the booking would, you know, cancel ...)

So, three days later, the booking is still visible in 'Manage my booking', but clicking on it brings up an error. Still haven't refunded my points..

EDIT: On the phone app, the booking is still there with all the details.:rolleyes:

I just called the Premium line to see what was up. She said that you can't cancel Award flights on-line "never have been able to", notwithstanding it has a "cancel my booking" button.

What have we said about hopeless IT??

Anyway, if its going back into the pool, it might pop out soon.

I did just that this year! It did take 5 weeks for the points/$$$ to be refunded (less 6K cancel fee).

Yes, she lost a bit of credibility when she said the points and dollars would take " a couple of days" to be refunded.

Any particular hotels people are considering in KUL. I'm thinking about the Westin but if folk are staying at the Hilton could go for Le Meridien

I haven't looked at prices yet, but probably the Hilton for convenience. That is if I start in KUL, as BKK may not be much more for a few more TP/SCs.

I am looking at this, thought I would reply.
Have only visited Malaysia once and transited KUL once as well on a different trip.
It also has parkrun so added bonus for me.

Booked:

- 04 June - QF81 SYD-SIN
- 08 June - MH614 SIN-KUL
- 09 June - MH619 KUL-SIN
- 09 June - QF36 SIN-MEL
- 10 June - QF416 MEL-SYD

Staying at Ritz Carlton in KL.

It priced as SYD-KUL return so in J was actually cheaper than booking then MH flights separately.
