Kris Flyer Silver - Velocity Gold ?

I was busted back to Kris Flyer silver last year - will regain gold again soon.

Flown Virgin domestic 6 or 8 times whilst silver on SQ - - - but retained gold status on VA ?

I have enjoyed using the Virgin lounges & the other perks in Australia - thanks kindly.

Has anybody else had the same experience ?

I'm a little confused by this. How did you retain gold on VA? Did you credit the Virgin flights to Velocity or KrisFlyer?

VA flights usually a part of an SQ itinerary - (all Kris flyer points)

When I book a VA domestic flight points are credited to Kris flyer - not Velocity & boarding passes show me as gold ?

Boarding passes given to me by SQ at Singapore or elsewhere for VA flights in Australia are silver - I simply check in VA Aus. & get a boarding pass - GOLD - yay !

Last SQ flight BNE>SIN I was called to called to the service desk - (thought I was going to get upgraded, but no such luck) - just a ticket issue of some kind - asked the woman if I had by chance cracked Kris flyer gold again - NO - showed her an old VA boarding pass & asked why gold on VA & told her I had zero Velocity points - puzzled looks all round - advised to make the most of it,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
