Kogan Mobile - Game Changer? [Gone!]

Latest offering from Kogan - Kogan Offer | TeleChoice

Is the wording here confusing or am I just a simpleton? Or as is case with most mobile providers the aim of their game plan is to indeed confuse potential customers?

I am still confused - which part does it use? 7.2? What does that mean?

Sorry, it uses part of the Telstra network

It uses the Telstra Wholesale network, which "in theory" gives you coverage where Optus has coverage. Basically they have tried to match Optus's coverage. However, this is a little un-true.

When you have coverage you will use 3G in most places, but then also 2G in another batch of places which are mainly regional/rural areas

The data speed is limited to 7.2Mbps which is probably not a huge issue, but I'd still rate the Boost $40 unlimited offer over this, or as a low user one of the Optus resellers, as the coverage is going to be larger than Telechoice!

It's the same "part" that Kogan used to use, as its the same Telstra Wholesale offering.
