Still waiting for the Thai site bug to be fixed - useless front page guys!

Any date you select rejects and either told no flights available, or (like today) I selected a flight for May 2nd returning May 4th and it decided I wanted to leave April 2nd and return April 4th - obviously that caused it to have a headache.

The other thing is that you no don't provide a BKK-SGN service, but you continue to offer it as a destination. :shock:

Personally, the decoration rates a distant second to the booking/search engine actually working correctly.

Get that right and it can be any colour you want as long as it works.

Maybe have a few different backgrounds where a user can choose what they want to see. Now you have a beach/ocean, maybe rainforest, city lights? Lol i guess that's the market JQ are aiming for, not the basic/clean sterile website.

Hmm, I seriously think they should change the background logo to a "Southern Cross" tattoo, and an Australian flag. Think of all the extra business they will get to Bali, and other beachside places (via their Singapore hub).

I even have a name for the new pictorial JQ site (based on the above), but will refrain from mentioning it. JQ know who are their target market, and do go for that market well. I expect the changes to be implemented quickly.

How about just analysing the incoming IP address and if it’s from somewhere like Cronulla for instance, the "Australia Made tattoo" could be displayed, or a BBQ on the beach

The New Web Site is a Huge FAIL

What I have found is,

you can no longer book a flight from Sydney to Japan

Trying to book out of Gold Coast for a December - Jan flight, you can not get any dates beyond 31 December

Fiji is listed as Fiji Outrigger (which is a hotel)

I tried to give feedback on the sites form and it bombs out so no complaints is because the form does not work.

You can not fly Melb to Honolulu

Navigating dates was easy before, a nightmare now as it is often below your screen and if you try and scroll it clears what you have done.

I want to book five flights I had tagged last week and now I cant, Someone told me to just use the Qantas site but you can not get a Starclass on the Q site.

So to the Jetstar rep that came here, please fix your site its preventing bookings.

I do, Starclass on Jetstar is a great way of going skiing in Japan, the additional comfort, pricing if booked early less than economy on Qantas and JAL and the additional bagage allowance for the ski gear.

There are five of us going in Dec - Jan 2011/12 from Sydney and Ipswitch so a GC connection works out really well for us.

Oh I like the Business Class QFF Points and Status as well.

You can get to this site, by choosing the Global Site at the top of the screen. Where it says "It looks like you are in xyz", choose edit, then Global (English) from the drop down box, and then click on Update.

On the main page, I can't select MEL-KUL so I enter MEL-SIN first and then when the price page loads, I scroll down and manually change SIN to KUL ... and then it works.

Apart from this small issue, the page looks prettier!

Not sure where best to post this, so here goes. If it should be elsewhere, Mods please feel free to move.

Just tried to find the status of a booking I have with JQ (I have quite a few). Well, I was defeated. Couldn't find how to do this, so I went to the SG version of the website (the old one) where things still work.

Is it me (it's quite possible) or is it JQ?

Just tried to book a *class flight to Osaka next week form Melbourne. Osaka does not show up as a destination, only Narita. Can we booked as two deparate legs

MEL to OOL
OOL to KIX

not keen to hang on waiting to speak to Jetstar call centre. Looking at alternatives

Balwyn3101 - You are right Osaka does not show as a destination ex Melbourne but type in any origin/destination. The search again box right at the bottom of the page will then allow you to select Melbourne to Osaka and shows the connecting flights. I hope I am making sense and I understood your question correctly.

I mentioned earlier that this was the only way I could get flights to show for Gold Coast to Denpasar and Gold Coast to Honolulu. Denpasar has since been added - Honolulu still missing.

Discover that when you get to the flight selection page, the Fare Rules links at the top (for Jetsaver Light, Jetsaver, JetFlex etc) just give you a window with a 404 error in it.

I was having problems displaying my booking yesterday, kept getting an error, but today it’s showing fine, so hopefully they’re just making little tweaks here and there as the days roll on…
