Jetstar has sent out a PR release, with incorrect service information in it.

“Feed me” packages cost $25 when pre-purchased and include a main meal plus drink and a light meal plus drink.

Obviously Jetstar’s PR gurus don’t fly the airline, or they would know that, for quite sometime now, the “Feed me” pack has pre-sold for $30*, and included complimentary dry bar throughout the flight! (i.e. $25 and 2 drinks - is a JQi product of the distant past!)

*excluding DPS flights

Whoops: Jetstar sends out the wrong sales message II

Travel dates for Jetstar's Celebration Sale

Yesterday we sent you an email about our sensational celebration sale. By mistake, we said that the travel date was 15 Jan - 31 March 2008 but it
should have read 15 Jan - 13 March 2008.

So, the correct travel periods are:
16 Oct - 13 Dec 2007 and 15 Jan - 13 March 2008
Except for fares that were marked with an * that are only for travel
15 Jan - 13 March 2008.

Please note that Melbourne to Hobart and Launceston are also now only available during the second travel period being 15 Jan - 13 March 2008.

We're genuinely sorry for the inconvenience we caused, but the good news is that there are still plenty of great fares available as part of the celebration sale.

Don't miss out, sale ends 16 August 2007.

Re: Whoops: Jetstar sends out the wrong sales message II

I think they may be wanting to add some sort of review/quality control mechanism to the sales messages before they go out/get published. Seems to have been a flurry of errors coming out.
