Actually, I am thinking the opposite; the offer is being made with a view to having a likely rejection. My original flight appears lightly loaded, so maybe they have to make a certain number of offers. Ether that or you are correct and there are those out there to whom such an offer may be acceptable.I assume this scheme has a high acceptance rate given compensation seems to have settled at $10. The question is why are people accepting $10 to move?
Maybe JQ wants to cancel your original flight?Actually, I am thinking the opposite; the offer is being made with a view to having a likely rejection. Oh I'm flying QF around the same time so I may bump into you in the lounge?$20 voucher each for this Saturday. Given a heap of alternate options. Not interested tho.
All these messages say you have to pay to select a seat again if your seat isn’t available. Seriously?? That will eat up the generous $20 in just that charge.$20 voucher each for this Saturday. Given a heap of alternate options. Not interested tho.

If you changing flights last minute not much chance of your preferred seat anyway. Id think those that preselect seats would be pretty unlikely to take-up this offer in any event.Seriously?? That will eat up the generous $20 in just that charge.
