Also received a $10 "offer" to move a 10 am WLG-AKL flight to a 9:30pm flight the next day!
Seeing as I'm flying (on a separate ticket) back to SYD on the afternoon of the original ticket, I think I'll be a $10 Jetstar voucher worse off. 🤭

ADL-BNE on Monday both of us got offered $20. As wasn’t interested didn’t check if that was $20 each or $10x2.

I assume this scheme has a high acceptance rate given compensation seems to have settled at $10. The question is why are people accepting $10 to move?

Actually, I am thinking the opposite; the offer is being made with a view to having a likely rejection. My original flight appears lightly loaded, so maybe they have to make a certain number of offers. Ether that or you are correct and there are those out there to whom such an offer may be acceptable.

Maybe JQ wants to cancel your original flight?

I wonder if they’d have more luck if people who accepted the offer could choose a voucher to be put toward a future flight OR a voucher to be used on board?
