Screen grab from AA.com site -
I was looking up the location of the Admirals Club at SFO...
Look for the location of Qantas on the right...

i am surprised at how many people spell Qantas with the u in it.

Oh Dear :oops::oops::oops::oops:

It is a common mistake, the human brain wants to put a 'u' in there, but you just have to fight it;)

Josh:p

If a dollar was made for every time QF was spelt as Quantas, I think QF wouldn't have much troubles trying to make good on their balance sheet.

On another note, it is even more sad - perhaps annoying and frustrating - when oneworld partners do not recognise and offer the benefits of their other oneworld elite brethren. Yes, I'm looking at you, BA (thankfully, they have improved slightly).

Amazing, it must be such a common error that is warrants its own domain name

Probably.

That or just in case some nut decides to register a company name "Quantas". Then you end up with a sort of law suit and confusion similar to YouTube and U-Tube.

Well, now it is.

The image above is hotlinked to the AA site, and I can vouch that when this topic was started the red roo airline was spelt incorrectly.

Here there's lots of caching and I still see the misspelt version.

Here it is for posterity:

Haha. They probably noticed the image was being loaded an unusual amount of times not on an AA URL, after that it was only a matter of time before they discovered their mistake! :p
