These Oneworld airlines are leaving Heathrow T3
It’s an end to the Great Oneworld Lounge Hop as airlines shift from Heathrow T3 to T4.
AY business ticket ...Oh, I like the idea of getting to the QR lounge on an AY ticket!
Not that many attendees flew AY out of T3 that day ... still BA, QF, CX, AA qualify.AY business ticket ...
Yeah this is totally bizarre IMO. Moving Finnair to T5 would have been more logical surely?CZ moving to T5 which is just BA and IB is more interesting.

This was the third consultation round.don’t think this will be the end of it…
Of course. I was thinking of future “reindeer” route trips but of course both a J ticket and ending up beyond HEL incurs the higher UK departure tax rate…AY business ticket ...

Silver lining for anyone travelling soon, the moves are scheduled for 2028 so the T3 lounge circuit should still work through next year. After that, T4 ends up with a bigger oneworld crowd, so a shared lounge there would make a lot of sense. In the meantime leave extra time for any T3 to T5 connection, the transfer bus plus repeat security adds up![]()
