Hi.

Tomorrow I’m having my first international flight since before the pandemic. Very excited!

I’m travelling from Sydney to Frankfurt. Connecting in Melbourne and Abu Dhabi.

My question is, do I check in for the Sydney to Melbourne leg at the domestic T2 terminal and travel as if it were a regular domestic flight? Or do I check in at T1?

A similar question was posed earlier this year but about Qantas.

If your SYD-MEL flight is operated by Qantas you will need to find a service desk at SYD T3 to check in - you would need all the required documents for intenrational travel at that time and you should receive all boarding passes.

Melbourne often has a specific "Domestic Connection to international" check in counter but I do believe there is one in SYD.
