Ok, so I have never flown them but my experience with them to date is extremely positive - seems like a very professional well run shop...

Had to cancel a CX award ticket due to change of plans. Not a problem at all - points back into the account almost instantaneously. Then received an email a few days later saying your refund for taxes is being processed...

Even calling through the call centre (albeit during off peak hours) has been a very professional experience... no wait at all and requests done pretty efficiently. Downside is I hate their voice prompted telephone system...

All in all, it seems to be a very well run shop... which I think is reflected in their 5 year share price chart... that is some serious shareholder value creation... 10 bagger...

I agree - it's always a pleasure dealing with them. Very helpful contact staff. If you do get to fly with them you'll enjoy that too, very pleasant premium cabin service, and lovely lounges.

Me three, for an LCC they are very good. No complaints after a few trips.

I've never thought of them as a LCC :confused: if anything I'd have thought they were the opposite. They're a legacy carrier, they operate lounges, they have a FFP, just to mention a few of their Non-LCC activities. Am I completely missing something?

When I called to book my CX J flights CNS/HKG/CNS with AS miles on their toll No. they were so professional and helpful, took about 30 mins in all. Confirmation email arrived shortly after, all flights taken were no problem.
