I'm in the VA Lounge thread

The DRW VA lounge is adjacent to Gate 1. It has PC, printer and plenty of power points under the desk. What more could you want?
I was using one seat but happy to guest someone into the other seat (careful of the dodgy wheel though.)

In Melbourne for next 45 mins, dreaming of the day I get to see an improved food offering. Nevertheless pleased to be able to escape the rest of the terminal

The VA DRW lounge doesn't have a dragon, but the riff raff are kept out by a strategically placed garbage bin.

In the PER lounge at the moment, first time lounging not actually flying.

Showed my platinum card and mum's boarding pass and politely asked it it was okay to see mum off in the lounge :)

I'm at the DRW VA lounge but I can't fit in! There's some other bugger sitting there today! And the chair with the dodgy leg has gone, so I can't even sit on that.

Many people have messaged me, asking (a) how can I be awesome like you, and (b) where is the fabled DRW VA Lounge
I cannot help with the former, but I can help with the latter:

Will be in the VA lounge in Syd late morning today to early afternoon. Will have a guest but happy to meet up with anyone there at the same time.

Tomorrow will be at Gold Coast VA lounge from 6.30 pm for about two hours. Can guest one.

Still in the VA lounge SYD. Now here to 4.40pm. Changed it out twice at my request. On a saver fare.

In the lounge now. Lots of space for seating. Soups are pea and ham & creamy mushroom. Will go upstairs shortly to see how that is.

Upstairs is shut, as per usual weekend form. I'm out the back with the lovely view of the air conditioners. :)

Edit: Here until 14:15 ish. Western end, directly opposite flight board behind kitchen... Because Serfty's lounge appears to be shut now. :(

Yeah, last time I was there the seating had been removed although you could walk around it if you wished :p (this was after the south west lower area was reopened).

Definitely a no-go area now. Which is sad given its effectively the last vestige of Golden Wing.

Just passed through OOL VA lounge. Only there 10 mins but food looked the same fare. Only tried the soup. Not as good as the mushroom yesterday.

It still is a lovely lounge at OOL. The view is also appealing, & nothing is ever a bother for the staff. :D

Yes good views in OOL lounge. Now in SYD lounge. Food looks same fare as yesterday. Mushroom soup great though!
