Recommend using US Topcashback for IHG, they constantly have 12% offers, sometimes even up to 15%.

Fair point on the speed of payment, it has usually taken 3 months to receive it on TCB. The currency fluctuation is not an issue as for example on a $500 booking the 3% extra cashback would equal $15 AUD, the USD would have to crash more than 25% against AUD for that to be an issue.

The bigger exposure is the cost to convert to AUD but I just withdraw to a Wise US account and pay in USD to avoid the FX fees.
