Qantas considering pre-ordering of Business Class meals - International flights

Today I received (and completed) a survey from QF Research Panel today regarding options for the pre-ordering of Business Class meals on International flights.

Weird that they need to do a survey on it.
Even with 8 choices I think SQ offers more J options out of SYD, let alone SIN.

Yes - Select on Q-Eat, which was later renamed Menu Select. It was even available to Economy passengers - with pre-order only exclusive options. Killed off during the pandemic.

QF intl meal service is routinely the slowest of any airline - if the crew have to start sorting out who’s pre ordered what I worry will only make it worse

The NP offering is a palate cleanser rather than a full salad. Perhaps they could offer a sorbet instead

If a sorbet was served as solid as they serve ice-cream, you'd not notice the enormous wait between courses that we have to endure with the sooo slooow meal service.
