Old PP Membership lasts through to 31 March 15.

Only Australian reservation coming up = IC SC on 25 March 15.

Got a string of Rewards nights booked in Europe / UK / Africa for April / May 15 ( to include just one night at IC Singapore )

Planning on getting IHG Dining Rewards ( I know only good for targeted IHG properties ).

Been waiting for a 'sell' phone call ...

None to date.

Want to use the 'free night' at IC Park Lane London early May.

What advice to land a '$100.' dining voucher or any other 'additional' benefit ??

Should I call and 'enquire', then um & arrh, and say 'I'll think about it' ??? ( and that may trigger a call-back with 'an offer' )

I called them late November, after a number of missed calls from them, listened to their sales pitch, I simply asked if I purchased today, what could they add on...she was more than happy to offer the $100 e-dining. Paid $279

hope that helps

I have joined Dining Rewards 6 weeks ago and not yet received the pack. I can't seem to book the 25% off best flexible online unless I use the codes given for PP. Does anyone know if I book using this code it will be accepted given that I was not a PP member before joining dining rewards? (I have been a platinum member of IHG rewards for the last 2 years but I don't think that's relevant). thanks for any advice.

Click on the participating hotels and there will be an option to book using the 25% off

Hi markis10, I tried that and get the message 'there are no rooms matching your request' - tried all the different options (for warwick farm) and none come up, despite it being in the participating hotels list. I tried intercontinental on the same system and just get the 'system unavailable' and contact us message.
I tried a dummy booking on the pp code, all went through and it says voucher required- which I should have by the time I am staying at the hotel. Just not sure if Diners Rewards 25% off voucher will be an acceptable alternative to PP..
Forgot to thank you for the quick response.

Another question for the experts ...

If my PP expires end of March 15, and I buy into the new program, can I use both concurrently ??

( meaning, still use my last remaining BOGO at IC SC, and use the 25% off Dining benefit whilst there ??? f

I can't see why not. You are a member of both programs and entitled to use your rewards. The only caveat I could see, is they most likely won't let two different rewards be used at the same time for the same thing (ie bogo + 25% off accommodation). If you can book the BOGO, I can't see why you couldn't use the dining rewards from a different program.

Did you miss my post and subsequent emails back and forth from "customer service/support"?

Just because a hotel is on the participating hotels list does not mean it participates in all of 25% off best flexible rate, 10% off advanced purchase or 10% off Advance booking. The hotel chooses which ones to participate in and take note rooms are limited. They may only release one room. They may release none.

This is a poor program. I was suckered into joining with a very untruthful sales pitch. My only hope is Platinum status works in Thailand to give lounge access.

I hope you have luck with that one......but AFAIK, IHG aren't well known for giving away free club access to anyone except RAs.

I got it in Chiang Mai when I was Platinum a few years ago. I guess I stay there 12-15 nights/year and if I can save on breakfast and dinner with each stay then the membership with the free night would be worth it.

Signed up today with instant Platinum and I expect 10k bonus points via the 'Set your sights' promo.

Some trial dummy bookings online seem to show that everything is working ok.

Can you access 'Free night' and 25%/10% discounts via the IHG app?

I wasn't able to with my free night, was also hoping to try this to attempt to get the ihg app booking achievement

Sent an email to the 'Contact Us' link for the Program ... asking about any 'offers' for current PP Members, who were 'thinking' about moving over to the new program.

Response back was, no offers from 'us' - you need to contact the "Sales Team" directly, who only engage over the phone !!

So, call them. I used to get emails about offers. Ended up getting it for $249 with two $50 vouchers.

Yep. Did same. About time I had some 'luck' ...

Phone call to 1800 number saw me getting a 13 month IHG Dining Rewards Membership for $AU249. WITH two $50. eVouchers attached ( though, remains to be seen if they are ACTUALLY there or not ? )

Used my Free Night straight away - booked Paris Le Grand IC for one free night, and a second night for 50k points. Showing as around $AU580. a night !!!

Also found a great rate for Club Intercontinental Room at the Cairo Semiramis IC at $US147. a night. Three nights = about $AU685. with those high Cairo taxes ...

Looking forward to my 22 day 'business class' trip ... ( using some 225k in IHG Reward Points along the way )

I called up and could only get it.for 279 as I wasnt a previous PP member, but got 2x50 vouchers

Looks like I should have held out for a better deal!!

Mind you the bump up to platinum has resulted in 2 suite upgrades in Melbourne already - not to mention the free night in London

Have you enjoyed the free night in London yet? Any luck with an upgrade using your new plat status?
