Just curious as I met my wife in the QP almost 14 years ago.
There were not many seats around and I noticed she was reading a book on a topic that I had interest in.
I asked if I could sit across from her and then engaged her in conversation - we swapped emails - four emails a day (we lived 5 hours away) and 14 months later we were married
We have always wondered if anyone else has a similar story - not a quickie in the QP showers but a long lasting relationship?
For a while we did not fly much but kept our membership going in memory of how we met and whenever we flew into Brisbane we would always try to sit in the same area until they remodelled and made it heaps bigger.
Anyone with a similar story?
