After a hearty breakfast, we checked out of the Rydges Mt Panorama and spent a few hours at the National Motor Racing Musem. Our route today took us via Blayney, Cowra, West Wyalong, Hay and now overnight in Balranald. As I haven't filled up for a while, somebody here will be happy when I pump in about 160L in the morning. It's now off to the local Ex-Servicemen's club for dinner and a few drinks.

Looks like good time had by all ... I have had many a wine tasting expedition in my life but basically stopped due to general sameness and a developing level of exploitation.

Seems this one was different and I missed out on a good'n. Well done to the organisers. ... I'll keep a closer eye out in the future.

We are finally home in Adelaide.
A difficult drive with reported temperatures of 45° around Renmark. Rather than take our usual route via Ouyen, we decided on the slightly longer but more scenic way via Mildura and the riverland, passing through more wine regions and following the Murray for some of it's journey.
From the day we drove away from ADL (4th Jan) right up to our return today, we have had a fabulous time.
Once again +1 and I would like to thank the organisers of this event.

Buzzard !! I'm actually behaving myself now and will be storing it carefully until Shrek finds it and opens it one night to have with steak and chips when I'm overseas (true story BTW !! :D )

I think he would need more than a doctor by the time I finished with him if I came home to find it gone ;)

Just re-bumping this thread, did anyone happen to know the special/deal on the day with brokenwood, i was sent a case of the graveyard (thus me following this up) but it was at full retail rate not what i thought was 20% off on the day, its been a few months since and i cant find any paperwork (but still have the activated charcoal) :)
