How to book Velocity Amex free flight?

You most likely logged in, which it will do sometimes on a mobile device.

Once you like on a departing airport it will error with no departure airports found.
I was able to find flights BNE-MEL return and PER-MEL return (yes I had to login)

What browser are you using? I'm having no luck getting cities to populate when logging in on Chrome or FF.
I used Samsung's internet browser in incognito to get it to load earlier - just tried again and it is now not loading yet was a couple hours ago (make sure you use http:// not https:// as per the instructions)

I'm using Edge, the website loads, I can log in, choose a city and dates but no flights are showing and I tried a few cities and dates.

Yeah I'll do that. Found a bunch of T,Q class availability on the dates I'm interested in so I'll call and try with that

It seems to be working at the moment as I've actually managed to book my flight with two days to spare 😬

Is it still the case that T and Q fare classes are eligible to be booked using the AMEX Velocity Platinum flight benefit?

For me, flights that appear to have T and Q seats available (using ITA Matrix), do not show up for me on the Virgin booking portal (compflight.virginaustralia.com).

Perhaps the rules have changed?

The compflight link is definitely not working. It takes you straight to the VA site and you'd book a flight like you normally would.

Had the same issue, but weirldy repeat attempts with various browsers sometimes (although very rarely) work. But even if you do get lucky and hit the right URL you get sent to the VA homepage part way through the process. Very frustrating.

I though i was only one having the issue...it seems the site is removed or replaced with VA homepage.

I had the same issue recently but eventually coaxed it in to giving results. Perhaps I should keep quiet, but it appeared to me there was no limitation on the city pairs I could search for and get to the final stages of booking. My understanding is that shouldn't be the case e.g. I got MEL-PER and MEL-DRW returned. Is this something that would fail at the very final payment stage?

I found this late last year too, but didnt try to book so not sure if it would work.
