How Many QF destinations have YOU been to?

Now I was sitting on the Dash-8 today coming back from Longreach, and suddenly I had a thought... How many QF destinations have I been to?

So I have put together a list of all of the Destinations that QF (Mainline/QantasLink and JetConnect) fly - it is below...

How many of these places have you been to flying on QF? (Not HTI on JQ or MEL or AN!)

I you copy the text below, and embolden the QF destinations you have been to...

Only 13 of 'em!! (edit to add Syd was number 14) Poor effort on my part. Mind you the ones I have been to, I have been to many many many times.

I started by going from one side of the route map to the other, but then when I couldn't work out some of the city codes, I started doing it by letter as it was sorted that way... Hence I missed some!

A couple of comments:
SIN - Have flown into SIN on a QF codeshare. Does this count?

I think to as not to open the flooodgates, best to leave codeshares alone, otherwise it opens up a whole raft of crazy destinations (LAS!)

I assume that we are talking about landing at the airport (or taking off from that airport), but only when that airport is your destination? [eg SYD-SIN-LHR would only be SYD and LHR, unless you stopped over in SIN?]. If not the case, then there are others I can add.

No, I think as long as you were on a QF plane, and either took off or landed (or both) at an airport, it should be included. There are very few instances where you do transit on a QF plane (LHR/FRA/JFK routes excluded, the rest are mainly regional routes, such as BNE-LRE that I flew at the weekend, it transits in BKQ, quite a few got off, but only one got on.

So, 40 of 77, so a bit over 50% here.

And nineteen more that I've been to, but not via Qantas. I'll fill in a few more this year. MEL's not quite true - I flew out of Essendon many years ago with TAA. Coolangatta on that trip, on some old British metal. You could get a joyride over the Gold Coast - "Five adults for a fiver!", read the sign. But not with Qantas, and that rate might have changed since then.
