Here's my list:

Domestic: East West (first flight as a 3 year old from Parkes to Sydney), TAA/Australian/Qantas, Ansett, Hazelton, Aeroduck, Sunstate (when it flew as a separate airline), Regional Express, Vermin Blue (once, more than enough).

Overseas: Air New Zealand (both as TE and NZ), Canadian, BA, Singapore, Qantas, AA, TWA, Northworst (truly appalling), Delta, Delta Connection, Origin Pacific.

I'm embarressed, as mine's too small..... the list! the list!

(seriously).... nobody mentioned, or admitted, to having ever flown AEROFLOT.

Has anyboby had an experience on the old Russian carrier?

My sister did. She reckoned it cost her about 200 English Pounds to fly from London to Sydney, via Moscow on Aeroflot.

She said, the meals were all 'back to front', with a simple 'roast beef' being served for breakfast (London time when she boarded), something that resembled pasta at other times.

She also says.... "never again!"

Looks like there's some tough competition on this one.

Firstly, in response to Gordon's comments, I'd like to say that my wife and I have flown Aeroflot, from DEL to SIN (it was preferable to Air India). The Flight crew appeared to be quite competent, and the plane (an IL-62) flew quite nicely. Food was adequate, also (not Indian).

As far as other airlines are concerned, I haven't flown on that many, preferring the Star Alliance to maximise my FF points. Well, here goes:

Australian Airlines:

Kendell (KD)
EastWest (EW)
Ansett (AN)
Virgin Blue (DJ)
Qantas (QF)
Rex (ZL)
Hazelton
Impulse
TAA

Overseas Airlines:

Air New Zealand (NZ)

EasyJet (U2)

I'm sure I've forgotten a few, and haven't included several British charter airlines such as Britannia and Airtours (not real airlines).

Ryan Air
South African (comfortable domestic planes, excellent food)
