Good places to burn points though.I’ve booked the ritz Carlton for my return from Europe, I have issues with the peppers earn rate!
That’s a pretty disappointing upgrade for a Platinum. I don’t know if it’s because there is now more Plats or things have changed or not but I was told a few years back that Plats got automatic upgrade to Artist suites and Diamonds got upgrades to atleast Artist suites or Gallery suites if available. As regular visitors and Diamonds we get upgraded to the Garden suite these days
Yes, had a couple of Raffles properties mention the Diamond option via ALL Signature. No other properties have ever mentioned this and I suspect it may just be a Raffles thing?Something I've been meaning to get back to you on. IIRC (if!) you mentioned that a Raffles (Singapore?) told you that they only do good upgrades for 'proper' Plats and Diamonds - that is, earned through spend - not those who accelerated via Signature etc. If I do recall correctly, I was wondering how the hotel knew how the guest achieved their status.
Can you add anything to the expected upgrade thing in general? I'll make Diamond at the end of this month, via Signature but with a lot of bum-in-bed stays and I'm wondering what my expectation should be. In Asia/Pacific I guess. Does Accor Europe 'recognise' Diamond (they certainly are mostly oblivious to Plat).

A bathtub or a raised shower floor?lethal, completely smooth plastic floor
Raised walk-in shower floor. There’s been another one or two after this.A bathtub or a raised shower floor?
I'm not surprised, the information has to be available and why not allow hotels to access some form of it.... I am surprised that even they can see what's behind one's status.
Looking at my points account now (below). How do you discern what points were earned in the restaurant? While they gave me the accor+ discount when i was there 2 weeks ago, and i made a point of offering the loyalty card too but the girl said the night manager would reconcile the points... no points have arrived
I paid at the restaurant, didn't bill to room, but they took the room number

Like the airline check-in and on board, all they need to know is the status to afford you the benefits. Not how you got it.I'm not surprised, the information has to be available and why not allow hotels to access some form of it.
You had expenditure of circa $1100AUD or say $1000 before tax, that works out to be around 606 euro and at Mantra you get a point per euroLooking at my points account now (below). How do you discern what points were earned in the restaurant?

PromoThat just leaves the Loyalty Bonus Offer 3X which is double the standard rate on line one (3x for both line one and two) but I have no idea where that comes from?
