Room booked: Junior Suite
Room upgraded/type: Prestige Suite
Rate: $319 per night with SNUs
Early check in/late out: Early checkin by 30 mins, room was ready, late check out not required
Free internet: Yes
Free breakfast: Yes in no 35 or lounge. Chose lounge.
Welcome drink: 2 vouchers, forgot to use
Welcome amenity: Bottle of Frankie Shiraz and hand written card.

Recommend: Yes especially with an snu and upgrade, give you plenty of space, and we had great views over the art centre to the bay. Plus access to lounge.

Service can be mixed, checked in downstairs as it was quiet , found the treatment quite dismissive and cold. Previous trip friendly 🤷‍♂️

But at the lounge much friendlier and service oriented this stay, much more interested in us as guests etc…

Anyway this was Short break for our anniversary, and use up expiring SNUs.

Enjoyed afternoon tea/canapés and breakfast in the lounge. You could probably not eat anywhere else and be quite happy.

Forgot to use the drink vouchers though , should have got some to go hot drinks.

Also went to dinner at miss mi at the movenpick for something different, Accor explorer used without issues and also given complimentary sparkling for our anniversary which was very generous. Food was also excellent so highly recommend.
Chili crab and prawn dumplings, chicken ribs, barramundi and wok fried vegetables.

@Muppet501st which of the 3 would you recommend after your stays there, if knowing one had to pay the going rate of each property?
I’ve stayed at the last 2 and Sofitel is miles better but it’s also in a completely different part of the island so depends where you want to stay.
Personally I didn’t enjoy the Pullman and probably wouldn’t go back there.

Yeah. I won’t go back there.
Heading back in Feb, and having our birthday party at Novotel Nusa Dua, then back to the Mercure Kuta, which we enjoyed.
Was booked for the heritage Kuta which we stayed at last year, but with the new hotel in front of it blocking the beach view from the pool, we cancelled.

Visited Lisbon with my partner this holiday season ahead of our trip to Canada to meet my family. I chose this property as it was affordable, in a decent location in Lisbon and was Accor meaning I could hopefully get some benefits for the stay. Our flight into Lisbon was delayed by over 5 hours due to mechanical issues (which mean €400 in EU261 compensation per passenger was paid out by TAP Air Portugal for the troubles) meaning we ended up getting to the hotel around 1:30 AM. Fortunately, there was no trouble checking in as reception was 24 hours.

Overall, the hotel is perfectly fine. Not the worst ibis I've stayed in but certainly not the best (more on that in a future post). Aside from being on the top floor, no upgrade was provided, but again that wasn't much of an issue because of it being an ibis (I mean how much luxurious could their suite be?). We did find the room a bit cramped particularly given we had two large checked bags, a carry on bag and two backpacks.

Nonetheless, the room was perfectly serviceable for the 3 nights we were there:

A desk area provided a small work space for me to take care of some administrative items the following morning:

As for the bathroom, it was of decent size and fortunately was neither tacky nor featured a nasty shub:

Although we did not require late check out as we wanted to explore the city on our day of check out, the hotel did store our various luggage no problem. I know this may seem like a completely unremarkable point, but I have stayed at other Accor properties in the past where this wasn't the case (i.e. see my review last year of the Hotel Stratford in San Francisco).

Stayed at this hotel the night before our trip to Canada. This hotel was chosen as our first flight had a scheduled departure time of 6 AM and given we'd be up for the better part of a day (arriving in Toronto at 11 PM local time), we wanted to maximize our rest.

This hotel ended up being a very good choice and one that I would recommend for people who are in similar situations as us. The hotel has an airport shuttle that departs every 20 minutes around the clock meaning we didn't have to worry about whether there would be an uber picking us up. The hotel also has a lot of amenities you wouldn't find in a regular ibis such as a coworking space, ping pong table, child play area and the like. The hotel has a restaurant although the pricing is slightly more than I would expect from an ibis (then again I am a cheapskate).

The room itself was modern, spacious and well appointed:

It should be noted that the TV has streaming capabilities including Netflix, something that again I wouldn't ordinarily find at an ibis. Another item I wouldn't expect to find at an ibis (and not pictured) was the inclusion of 2 bath robes and slippers. The last time I've seen that at an ibis was when I stayed at the ibis Ambassador in Seoul back in 2023.

Waiting for us was a couple of welcome gifts:

The bathroom was modern and didn't contain a shub:

The hotel has a small outdoor gym:
