We had a 4.5hr layover at Changi so paid $100SGD for a transit room and had a 3hr nap and relaxing shower. Made a big difference to avoid the mess of KF J showers, which are terrible.

Now if only someone would unpack for a me.

You could always use my method of unpacking, I upend both cases onto the queen size bed in 3rd bedroom, put the dirty washing into the laundry basket and then close the door until I feel like tackling the mess ;););)

Mine is opposite, dump everything in the middle of our "family" area, then take out washing, and move all items to their respective rooms. I may not fully put away once in its room, but the back is broken within being home 2 hours.

I put the suitcase into a room I don’t venture into much and shut the door. I’ll sort it quickly once I’m in the mood.

My suitcase gets put on the bedroom floor. Washing comes out immediately, but remainder is left and picked over as needs be, until I can't stand it any longer and then its unpacked and sorted. Never less than a week after arriving back home.

I try come home having washed everything except the most recently worn clothing. I’m a little weird like that

I dont like packing dirty clothes so usually do a final wash/send out the day before flying out so everything is clean

Usually I like to empty bag when we returned but I just keep looking at them with my Jedi powers and theyre not doing anything

Suitcase sits on the bedroom floor for a few days, then when I finally get tired of tripping over it, or run out of underwear (whichever comes first) I extract the cat that's been sitting on top keeping the case warm, and dump pretty much everything into the wash. It helps that when I'm home, I work from home, so the usual business attire that sits in my case isn't needed!

Can’t pack dirty clothes so always wash/send out the day before and once home I like to put clothes away that day before relaxing
One of my daughters does this. It is the very last thing that would come to my mind.

I put dirty clothes in the laundry basket, hang up trousers and jackets and leave the other stuff until I can be bothered.

Unpack almost immediately on getting home. I pretty much run everything through the washing machine which makes it easier -so it’s sorted into the relevant piles on the laundry floor.

Where I fall down is all the bits and pieces like adapters, luggage straps. They get dumped into one of the now empty packing cells and chucked in the spare room until next trip...

We have laundry bags from hotels that we reuse on trips( if not staying in hotels). All dirty clothes go in there and when we get home that gets pulled out and dumped in the laundry first.

All other clothes are in packing cells (everyone has a colour) so those get piled in the relevant room and unpacked when we're up to it.
